Allan Britnell

Allan Britnell is an award-winning freelance writer and editor with more than 25 years’ experience. He likes to joke that his one and only “real” job was a four-year stint on staff at Cottage Life magazine back around the turn of the century. In addition to Renaissance, he currently works with a number of publications, including Cottage Life, Ontario Nature’s ON Nature magazine, the ETFO Voice and Today’s Parent, and is the editor-in-chief of the Canadian Home Builders’ Association’s magazine, Building Excellence. One of the greatest pleasures of his job is that it truly allows him to learn something — usually several somethings — each and every day.
