Alison LaMantia is a freelance writer and communications professional who is driven to use her skills to make a positive impact in the world. In addition to writing for Renaissance, she works with public sector and non-profit organizations, including RTOERO, to support their marketing and communications. Before launching her freelance career, Alison worked for more than a decade in communications with Ontario school boards. Alison is excited by others’ passions and gravitates toward work that aligns with her interests, including health and wellness, healthy aging, addressing inequalities and environmental sustainability. Alison is married to another professional communicator, and they and their three young children live in Oro-Medonte, Ont.
